Return Policy
As we want you to be completely satisfied, we handle all customer service matters in-house and do not rely on third party fulfillment houses.
Most merchandise can be returned within 10-15 days of delivery. In order to return a merchandise you must first contact us to get a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
Because we utilize multiple warehouse facilities, all return merchandise must be returned to warehouse addresses provided by us. We provide this address upon receiving your request for an RMA number.
Defective product returns are covered by the Manufacturers' Warranties and you will not be responsible for shipping charges or any other charges on defective returns that are under warranty.
Please contact us and we will assist you with any warranty issues.
Non defective merchandise returns would incur round-trip shipping charges and may also incur a re-stocking fee of 10-30% by our Suppliers. So please make sure that you want the item before ordering it. If unsure, please contact us and we will assist you in choosing the right product for your situation.
- Envirowood and Mahogany:
- Envirowood and Mahogany furniture, if returned, are subject to a 30% re-stocking fee in addition to round trip shipping charges
- Refused shipments will result in freight charge
- Shorea Furniture:
- All shorea furniture, if returned, are subject to a 25% re-stocking fee in addition to round trip shipping charges
- Refused shipments will result in freight charges
- Cedar and Teak:
- Returned Cedar and Teak furniture are subject to a 15% re-stocking fee in addition to round trip shipping charges
- Refused shipments will result in freight charge
- Swing Sets:
- Returned Swing Sets, are subject to a 15% re-stocking fee in addition to round trip shipping charges
- Refused shipments will result in freight charges
- Please note that the Snipe, Laser, Lightning, Tristle, and Avenger swing sets are non returnable!
- Wood Toys:
- Returned wood toys, are subject to a 30% re-stocking fee in addition to round trip shipping charges
- Refused shipments will result in freight charges
All furniture are shipped via either UPS/USPS or freight Ground. Please check the packaging for noticeable damages. If you see extensive damage to the package, please refuse to sign the delivery slip.
If you notice defects or damages after you have accepted delivery, please contact us immediately. We will arrange for replacement or replacement parts to be rushed to you. In case you receive the replacement before you return the defective materials, you are responsible for cooperating with the return of the item. Failure to return the damaged item will cause us to charge your credit card for the non-returned item.
Shipping Policy
In order to save you money, Kohestan has contracted with different shipping companies for different merchandise categories.
All furniture items are usually shipped within 2-3 business days by ground. However, if the merchandise is not available, we will contact you immediately to arrange for other options.
We can also ship any standard, in-stock item by express methods to anywhere in the continental United States. To get a merchandise delivered to you by other means than ground, please email us and we will contact you as soon as possible to quote you a shipping charge.
Please note that the shipping charges (if any) quoted are only for continental US and in some cases Canada. Orders to these locations will be automatically fulfilled. However, foreign locals will incur additional shipping charges. If your shipping address is located in a foreign country, please contact us to find out what shipping charges apply to you
Because Kohestan ships your orders directly from the manufacturer or our distribution warehouses, we are able to provide the lowest prices on the Internet and save you money.
Please note that "Free Shipping" applies only to the continental US. An additional 5% to 15% of total order is applied to merchandise shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
Please Note that curb side delivery for swing set means that the freight company will drop the merchandise by your curb side and will NOT carry the merchandise to your house. In some cases, where delivery to your curbside is not possible (Low overhangs, small dirt roads, etc.) you may be required to pick up the swing set at a different location.
Warranty Policy
All Products are covered by the full manufacturer's warranty. Please contact us for help with warranty issues for products you purchased through our company. We will assist you in getting these matters resolved. In addition we strive to provide warranty information on all our items within the item description so that you get the full picture before you submit your order.
Some manufacturers have different warranty policies. Please contact us before your purchase if you are concerned with warranty issued. Below is a summary of warranty terms. Please note that dditional terms and conditions apply and you may want to contact us beforehand for any questions you might have.

- Shorea: 1 year limited warranty
- Cedar and Teak: 1 year limited warranty

- Swing sets: 10 years limited warranty
